Finally all things have come into place and Shorty is waiting in Florida for us at Three Rivers Marine in Crystal River, FL. We are now on the road to Florida and thinking about and talking about what we are going to have to stock Shorty with to begin the Great Loop Cruise. The car is loaded with all of the essentials that we have at home and now we are making lists of what is needed. Rather I might add, my wife is making the lists and I am driving. It is a little bit exciting and at the same time daunting to know that a year from Shorty will be back in Crystal River having completed the loop. The day after we left the Euless area and Dallas-Fort Worth area was having as they say a wintery mix. Thanks to the Baumgardner's for offering to keep our Westie Bentley for us while we are in Florida for a week provisioning the boat. We hope that he gets along with their two dogs and dosen't get into too much trouble.
