This day was spent shopping, shopping, shopping. West Marine got the majority of the money today. Now we are also in the stowing mode. The trunk of the car is empty and the boat looks like it went through a storm. We have limited space so if its not needed its not bought.
We are still hitting the resturants pretty regularly as we don't have our stuff ready to set up house. We are getting to be regular's at Charleys Fish House, Crackers, and a new one this evening Pecks which is located out in the country a good drive from where we are.
The weather though warm and sunny is fairly cool at night and early morning. Although the tide is small, only between one and two feet it kind of determines our travel periods and since we have been shopping and working in the morning we have been going out on the boat in the evenings or when the tide is in.
We are getting more familiar with Shorty each day and I have a lot of work to do studying all the new instruments, radio, etc. I have been taking stuff home to read each evening but somehow I just collapse and go right to sleep.
